It's starting to look like a truck again! We now have the cab set in place, the radiator installed and most of the plumbing is finished. There's still a lot of fabrication ahead of us and a mountain of wiring left but we are trucking toward our goal of building this truck in less than a week and then cruising it to MRC Fabrication in Kernersville, North Carolina. We are going to drive it there on Sunday March 7th to go check out the progress on my 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVill. You guys are welcome to meet us there if you want. The address is 616 Indeneer Drive, Kernersville, NC 27284.
We are going to upload several more videos to the channel this week and those videos have been made possible by the good folks at Wire Care. Wire Care distributes everything you need to wire and plumb your hot rod, muscle car, truck, drift car or tricycle and we are using everything from battery cable to heat shielding products during the thrash to finish my C10. Want to see more? Visit www.wirecare.com
There's also bonus daily content on Wirecare's Instagram account, which is @wirecare_inc and Wirecare's US-first channel:

Why the stainless stuff though? I put aluminum hard line on my car. It's easier to work with and if you guys were on a crunch, what made it worth the trouble? I assume that there's an advantage to it but I've never used it because people complain about the difficulty.

You know that JIC and AN are identical right?? That means you can use JIC self swaging tube ends to terminate hard lines instead of having to flare tubing. It is the most positive sealing hard line setup, and it just looks SO fucking baller

Maybe a different type of comment. My concern would be the electronics under the hood if the truck is used for long periods of time or in very hot climate. At Chrysler we (not me) put engine control electronics under the hood due to turf issues I believe and heat was a significant issue. Plastic parts (Integrated Circuits) especially susceptible, plastic deformation on internal connections. Heat sink? Oh, on K cars the electronics were housed in the feedback carburetor air horn feed, actually causing another problem since the air feed was under the front bumper..I called the issue "Road Solids", like birds, gravel, etc breaking critical components. Experience as an Engineer at Huntsville Electronics Division. Good luck
